Job Description

Project Manager

We are a mid sized commercial and industrial fencing contractor known for durable fence systems, dependable installation and service, and a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction. We design, install, repair and sell a full range of fencing solutions, including chain link, ornamental iron, wire fencing and security gates, while prioritizing craftsmanship, on time delivery, code compliance and long term client relationships.

Qualifications

5+ years project management experience in fencing, gates, or commercial construction
Experience handling RFPs, change orders, and estimates
Knowledge of fence types and installation methods (chain link, ornamental, wire, gates)
Ability to read plans and ensure permit/code compliance
Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites
Experience with safety programs and OSHA requirements

Key Responsibilities

Conduct site assessments to define scope, constraints, materials, and labor
Prepare estimates, proposals, and manage change orders
Create and maintain project schedules and milestones
Coordinate fabrication, procurement, delivery, and installation teams
Monitor progress, quality, and compliance with codes, permits, and safety
Track budgets and costs escalate issues early
Manage subcontractors and vendors for quality, timing, and payments
Maintain client communication and handle scope changes or issues
Perform on-site inspections and enforce safety protocols
Keep thorough project documentation: permits, drawings, reports, photos
