About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join their team. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the President/CEO to develop and execute high-level HR directives and strategies that align with the organization's objectives. This role involves leading all operational HR aspects, including salary administration, policies and procedures, performance management, payroll, benefits, talent management, compliance, and employee relations. The VP of HR will also collaborate with the senior management team to ensure that HR strategies meet employee needs and are in line with the company's mission.
Candidates for the VP of HR position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field, with a preference for SPHR certification. A minimum of 8-10 years' of experience in a similar role is required, with a strong background in HR functions such as talent acquisition, management, and worksite employee relations. The role demands advanced conflict resolution skills, the ability to influence and motivate others, and a high level of proficiency in MS Office. The VP of HR will be responsible for managing a team and must have experience in coaching and mentoring, as well as a proven track record of legal compliance in HR practices. The position may require occasional travel and the ability to work beyond 40 hours a week.
