Location: Boston, MA Type: Contract-W2 Experience: 12 to 18 years Must-have skills: Integration Testing, Performance Testing (General), Product Testing, Quality Management, Quality Leadership Job Description: Quality Assurance (QA) Lead Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced QA Lead to oversee and drive the quality assurance strategy for our software products. The QA Lead will lead a team of QA engineers, design and implement test processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role requires strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers; foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Assign tasks, set priorities, monitor performance, and provide coaching and performance reviews. Define, implement, and maintain the QA strategy; design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing. Establish QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects. Oversee functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. Manage automated and manual testing efforts; track and report testing progress and quality metrics. Collaborate with product managers, developers, DevOps, and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA reports highlighting risks and improvement areas. Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to diagnose root causes and ensure timely resolution. Conduct risk assessments for testing lifecycle. Continuously improve QA processes and automate testing frameworks to support CI/CD; stay updated with QA trends and tools. Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in software quality assurance. Minimum of 2 years in a QA leadership or team management role. Technical Skills: QA methodologies, tools, and processes (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall). Test automation tools (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, Appium). API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI); CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, Kubernetes). SQL for database testing; cloud familiarity (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus. Certifications:

ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant QA certifications preferred. Soft Skills: Leadership and team management; ability to motivate QA teams. Analytical thinking and problem-solving to identify root causes. Attention to detail; strong communication and collaboration skills. Adaptability and time management; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Seniority & Employment
