Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (UMSOM) seeks a full-time Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist to join our academic team. The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine has a strong urban community based clinical program within the context of an academic environment. The candidate will be challenged to provide quality care in on- and off-campus locations, further research, help train residents, and educate our students.
This position is ideal for a clinician-educator and researcher committed to excellence in maternal fetal medicine, dedicated to advancing clinical care, research, and education within a collaborative academic environment. Expected rank for this position will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank and tenure status will be commensurate with selected candidate's experience.

Successful candidate should be able to: Demonstrate a strong interest in working within an academic environment committed to clinical care, research, and teaching Create a collaborative partnership with multi-disciplinary colleagues, reinforcing positive working relationships with the opportunity to care for patients with a variety of medical and social complexities Demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, patient safety, and continuous practice improvement Minimum Qualifications Board-eligible/board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), with the ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Maryland Strong clinical skills and expertise in high-risk obstetrics, obstetric surgeries, ultrasound, and invasive procedures Application Submission
