Overview
The Senior Digital Advocacy Operations Manager is a remote position with ACS CAN. The Senior Manager plays a core role in the successful management, execution and tracking of ACS CAN digital campaigns across email, social media, website and mobile platforms. The role serves as a primary expert in ACS CAN’s main technology platform, a point person for daily field staff support, and a lead in developing and delivering trainings for staff. The role involves strategic management of national advocacy, engagement and fundraising campaigns across all platforms, including programming emails, audience tracking and segmentation, posting content, and running paid social media advertising. The Senior Manager leads data collection, reporting and analysis, regularly producing reports and providing recommendations to content strategists for future strategy and content creation. Up to 20% of capacity may be allocated to customize the role for a candidate’s area of interest, which may include writing digital content, creating imagery, health equity campaigns, developing presentations or other relevant work. Responsibilities
Manage production, execution, testing, proofreading and deployment of digital campaigns (email, social media—organic and paid, action alerts, and website properties). Lead audience segmentation, tracking, and provide strategic recommendations to increase volunteer engagement. Lead analysis and optimization of email deliverability and domain reputation. Manage and create content for the organization’s website properties and coordinate content projects across teams. Analyze email, social media and website performance data and translate insights into strategic recommendations. Serve as in-house expert on the organization’s email marketing platform; create/update training materials for field staff and provide support and strategic guidance. Monitor industry best practices and changing technology related to email and SMS marketing. Manage projects to analyze tools, data and strategic initiatives to optimize ACS CAN’s use of technology platforms and marketing content. Manage monthly and annual volunteer activity reporting. Formal Knowledge
5+ years of campaign management or email/digital marketing data management experience; advocacy experience strongly preferred. Experience with CRM/email marketing tools like Luminate, EveryAction, Phone2Action or similar systems. Knowledge of social media content creation and paid advertising processes. Skills
Highly organized with strong time management, detail-oriented, and able to move quickly. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment; able to work with minimal supervision. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple pieces across an organization. Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation and a commitment to colleagues’ success. Ability to track and manage budgets. Desirable but not required: Google Analytics or similar website analytics tools; Facebook Ads Manager; basic HTML; Adobe Photoshop; website content management system. Compensation and Benefits
The starting rate is $72,000 to $82,000 annually. Final offer will consider relevant experience and skills, and may vary based on factors including geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
