Overview
Interim Assistant Director, Surgical Services position to lead the OR, Outpatient Surgery Center, and Endoscopy departments through a period of transition and optimization. Reports to the Director of Surgical Services and supervises a team of 41 FTEs. Responsibilities
Lead the OR, Outpatient Surgery Center, and Endoscopy departments through a transition and optimization period. Oversee daily operations, stabilize performance, and build trust with the team. Engage staff, drive change, and maintain effective communication; address operational demands with agility. Start date: able to begin within 2–3 weeks of acceptance. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; BSN/MSN preferred. Active California RN license required. Minimum of five years of perioperative RN experience in an acute care hospital or multidisciplinary ambulatory surgery center. Start Date & Compensation
Start Date: ASAP Pay Rate: $170,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year Location
Monterey, CA Compensation Details
Compensation range: $170,000 to $180,000 annually. Final rate based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation.
