Interim RN Director, Case Management
StartDate: ASAP
Pay Rate: $170,000.00 - $180,000.00
The Position
An Interim RN Director, Case Management is needed to lead case management, discharge planning, and care coordination at a mid sized hospital facility.
Reporting to the Vice President of Case Management, this leader will oversee a team of seven FTEs.
Key responsibilities include improving average length of stay variances, enhancing care coordination with the interdisciplinary team and post acute continuum, and maintaining employee morale and relationships with medical staff and service partners.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a servant leader accustomed to working in a union environment as well as a sole physician model, with a hands on approach rather than an office bound style. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical.
Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required.
Active California RN license required.
Progressive leadership experience in case management, utilization management, or discharge planning—ideally within a hospital setting and a unionized environment—is required.

Compensation Details
Compensation Range: $170,000 to $180,000 annually.
The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
