The Executive Meetings Manager (EMM) is responsible for soliciting, booking and servicing smaller meetings and events groups across all market segments, and acting as the main point of contact for arranging group details for onsite events. This includes coordinating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and other servicing needs. The EMM serves as a single point of contact throughout the sales process to achieve sales objectives for guest rooms and banquets/catering. Achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals for meetings (19 rooms or less on peak night) and events (catering). Execute engaging site inspections and creative proposals. Solicit Group and Catering business via phone and internet prospecting, networking events, and outside sales calls to generate new business and maintain relationships. Develop action plans to achieve market segment budget revenue. Prepare, present, and negotiate customer proposals and contracts. Coordinate with other hotel departments post-closing to ensure delivery of superior guest service and achieve service score goals. Coordinate meetings and events with accurate communication outlines, memos, Banquet Event Orders, Group Profiles, and other communications as necessary. Monitor contracted groups to ensure minimum food & beverage revenues, guest room revenues, and meeting room rental revenues are met or exceeded. Coordinate menu arrangements to maximize revenue while serving client needs. Upsell food & beverage, guest room types and ancillary revenue streams. Obtain rooming lists, monitor cut-off dates, and ensure lists are received by the due date in accordance with contracts. Provide logistics, create custom menus, and coordinate with outside vendors for clients. Assess and monitor revenue factors (room rental fees, telephone charges, storage fees, etc.) in line with the sales contract and hotel policies. Maintain flexible hours to accommodate customer needs due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry. Specific Experience We're Seeking

Self-starter with internal drive to excel in performance. Good typing and computer literacy skills. Proven selling skills and competencies in Luxury or Boutique Hotel segments; experience with contract negotiations and operating systems such as Opera, Delphi, and Concerto. Flexible work schedule; able to host site inspections any time within a seven-day period. Comprehensive understanding of Delphi Sales systems. Participation in trade shows, conventions, and promotional events within the hotel, industry, and customer organizations. Bachelor's degree preferred. Qualification Requirements

Prior relevant experience in hotel sales and a bachelor’s degree. Language Skills

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and professionalism. Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions. Regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance. Physical Demands
