This role focuses on shaping and scaling Mercury’s consumer banking offering, from user-facing experiences to the supporting tooling across risk, support, and compliance. This role demands vision, empathy for user needs, and the ability to build and prioritize a product roadmap using data to deliver exceptional user experiences and integrations. Co-own with design and engineering an ambitious product roadmap for consumer banking products—from 0→1 ideas to continuous improvements and scaling the consumer program Prioritize product investments using qualitative and quantitative inputs to make tradeoffs in ambiguous environments Collaborate across Mercury to ensure stakeholders are aligned on the Personal Banking vision and feel joint ownership over strategy and results Work across product surfaces (growth, risk, core product) and dimensions (mobile and web) to tie initiatives together Clearly communicate technical and non-technical product specifications to enable efficient collaboration across stakeholders Identify opportunities to improve the consumer product experience, enabling both large and small projects Drive accountability and maintain a high bar for execution and customer experience Qualifications

7+ years of relevant product management experience in a financial technology company Experience with directly regulated products in banking, insurance, wealth management, or treasury at a growth-stage startup across multiple product areas (risk, growth, mobile, core banking, etc.) Technical inclination or ability to produce detail-oriented requirements that enable shipping high-quality features Ability to balance deep technical understanding with user empathy Ability to distill complex problems into first principles Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high bar for execution and customer experience Compensation and Benefits

The total rewards package includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are competitive within SaaS and fintech and updated using industry data. New hire offers depend on experience, location, and internal pay equity. Target base salary ranges: US employees: $200,700 - $250,900 Canadian employees: CAD 189,700 - 237,100 Equal Opportunity
