Enterprise Information Technology Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise IT Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in IT architecture, a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and a proven track record of designing and implementing comprehensive IT solutions. The Enterprise IT Architect will be responsible for aligning IT strategy with business goals, designing scalable and secure IT infrastructures, and ensuring the successful integration of new technologies within the enterprise. The role is fully onsite Monday- Friday: Sterling Heights, MI/ Warren, MI
but may require occasional travel to other company locations or client sites. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into IT strategies and solutions. Develop and maintain an enterprise architecture framework that aligns IT initiatives with business goals. Design, document, and implement IT infrastructure and application architectures that meet business needs. Ensure scalability, security, and efficiency of the IT architecture. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the IT landscape. Oversee the integration of new technologies into existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability. Manage and coordinate with various IT teams to implement solutions across the enterprise. Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Monitor and ensure the integrity and security of enterprise IT systems. Act as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring clear communication and understanding of IT capabilities and limitations. Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards. Monitor the performance of IT systems and infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement. Implement best practices for system performance, reliability, and scalability. Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT architecture, including system configurations, processes, and integrations. Prepare and present reports on IT architecture performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives to senior management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, ITIL, CISSP) is a plus. Experience: 5-10 years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong background in designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions. Demonstrated experience in strategic IT planning, technology integration, and governance. Technical Skills: Proficiency in enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). Strong knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity. Experience with enterprise applications and platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, databases). Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven leadership abilities and experience in managing cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications in relevant technologies or frameworks. Experience in specific industry sectors relevant to the organization. Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management tools.
