About the Role We are seeking a smart, capable, and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our Chairman, legendary filmmaker Greg MacGillivray. This isn’t your typical desk job, you’ll play a pivotal role in both professional and personal projects, helping keep schedules, creative work, and mission-driven initiatives running seamlessly. This is an in-office role in Laguna Beach that can be structured as

full-time or part-time

based on the needs of the applicant. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives on variety. What You’ll Do Manage and coordinate the Chairman’s schedule for both personal and professional commitments Support the research and development of film projects, from idea generation to background research Help create “cultural storytelling” experiences at museums and cultural sites, including design, writing, video/still assembly, vendor/artist coordination, and production of displays Coordinate the Chairman’s involvement with charities and boards, assisting in the development of new ideas and sites Manage and oversee other special initiatives, including the initiation of new mission-driven projects Organize calendars, travel, meetings, and logistics for business and creative projects Oversee household and vendor coordination, including light construction or home projects Provide flexible support for office and production needs as they arise Who You Are Highly detail-oriented and exceptionally organized Proactive, adaptable, and solution-driven Strong communicator who thrives in a fast-moving environment Skilled at managing complex calendars and shifting priorities Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable with confidential information Background in executive support, project management, coordination, or creative production (preferred) Comfortable working across both creative and logistical responsibilities Hands-on, resourceful, and excited to contribute in a creative, mission-driven environment Why Join Us This role offers the chance to work closely with a world-renowned filmmaker, contribute to inspiring creative projects, and help launch new mission-driven initiatives.
