Principal Planner . These are not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned as needed. Any combination of education and experience demonstrating the ability to perform the duties is considered qualifying. Education:
A four-year degree from an accredited university or college in urban planning, environmental design, architecture, geography, or a related field. Experience:
At least eight years of responsible urban planning experience, including current or advanced planning. This recruitment will establish an eligibility list for current or future vacancies in similar or lower classifications. Application/Selection Process:
Applications will be carefully screened. Selected applicants will be invited for a Structured Panel Interview. The hiring authority will review qualifications before making a final decision. The process may be adjusted based on the City’s needs. Pre-employment Process:
