We are looking for hands-on engineers to join our team and work directly with innovative technology in our products! You will focus on hardware validation and reliability of Low Voltage systems. Your job is to collaborate with teams across Tesla to ensure these products meet our high reliability standards. Your responsibilities span across the entire development cycle - from working alongside Design Teams during initial conceptualization, to final sign-off with data driven demonstrated reliability. We are the knowledge holders of how to properly validate the products and work cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure proper scope and timely execution are achieved. What You'll Do

Own and drive hardware validation efforts for low voltage programs. Your job is to become a product expert, figure out how it could fail and collaborate with design partners to drive changes Develop and maintain automation-focused test software to streamline execution, data collection and data analysis Design and build custom test equipment such as test PCBAs, harnesses and fixtures to make validation efficient, modular and repeatable Manage tests from setup through execution. Coordinate test resources and own validation schedules to communicate status with program managers Work with the design partners, reliability team, and suppliers to root cause test failures and arrive at a corrective action Collaborate with test technicians to perform component validation by simulating realistic and/or accelerated usage & environmental conditions What You'll Bring

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent experience Proven technical experience through internships, industry, passion projects, academic / extracurricular activities Excellent grasp of engineering fundamentals with experience using standard lab equipment (power supplies, electronic loads, o-scopes, DMM's, etc.) Coding experience, preferably Python, for automation and data processing Demonstrated experience debugging and troubleshooting technical problems Desire to be hands-on, understand how to interact with a system and automate repeatable tasks. You thrive on efficiency, and hate to see someone waste their time on something a script, fixture, or robotic system could do Compensation and Benefits
