Overview
We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering services firm. In this role, you’ll lead electrical design and technical content for building and infrastructure projects, ensuring code compliance, safety, and technical accuracy while mentoring junior staff and collaborating across disciplines. What You’ll Do
Lead electrical design, applying NEC, NFPA 72, and 101 standards Coordinate with architects, clients, and project managers to deliver high-quality, on-time projects Perform site investigations, write specifications, and provide technical support during construction Review and mentor junior engineers/designers Use AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation What We’re Looking For
BSEE (or equivalent) with 5+ years of electrical engineering experience Strong background in building electrical systems, energy use, and operations Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 72, and 101 PE license strongly preferred Seniority level
