Scope of Position
The team provides patient care and supportive services that are directed toward the achievement of quality patient care outcomes, improvement of service levels, reduction in length of hospitalizations and reduction of cost. Position Summary
The AA is a certified non-physician anesthesia provider who demonstrates excellence in all areas of anesthesia practice including but not limited to anesthesia case management, staff education and clinical research. The AA manages complex, unpredictable anesthesia situations. Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited school for anesthesia assistants (18month or 24month program). Current certification from the NCCAA. Current licensure from the Ohio State Medical Board. Current ACLS certification. Must be eligible to obtain clinical privileges as designated by the OSUMC Corporate Credentialing Office. Additional Information: Location: Rhodes Hall (0354) Position Type: Regular Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: Varying Shifts Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
