Overview The Real Estate Business Partner (BP) and Communications team is a global team in our Real Estate and Facilities department at ByteDance. The team supports key real estate strategies and communications that align with business unit goals, growth objectives, and employee experience standards. We leverage data-driven insights, industry expertise, and collaborative partnerships to support ByteDance’s real estate portfolio and business operations worldwide.

Responsibilities

Evaluate business requirements and opportunities, delivering strategic, data-backed real estate recommendations throughout planning cycles. Champion solutions that align real estate and business unit goals.

Partner with business units to analyze and interpret real estate and design needs. Collaborate with the planning team to translate business needs into feasible actions, considering space effectiveness, costs, and team collaboration.

Support regional teams in developing office relocation strategies, including pre-move programming and assessing impact on business operations.

Facilitate workplace resources for regional teams in office relocation and operation optimization.

Identify and assess emerging workplace development trends and partner with relevant teams to implement efficient solutions.

Lead and organize meetings with senior leadership and cross-functional partners to explore real estate options aligned with headcount growth and strategic planning.

Manage complex stakeholder relationships, collaborating with other CS teams (such as EHS, Food Services, and Physical Security), HR teams, and employees within the supported business area.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of corporate experience in business partnership, real estate management, workplace project management, design strategy, internal communications, or similar roles.

Strong quantitative and qualitative data skills with the ability to translate into strategic recommendations.

Experience managing multiple real estate and business initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Technology, Media, or Entertainment industries, with understanding of their dynamics, trends, and challenges.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

At least 30% travel (mostly domestic, some international), depending on office and business unit needs.

Ability to work across various time zones and manage an international portfolio.

Job Information Compensation: Base salary range for this position in the selected city is $92,800 – $151,112 annually. Total compensation may include bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance from day one, a 401(k) with company match, parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off. Benefits vary by location.
