Vice President Operations & E-Commerce
OrkaTV, Santa Monica, California, United States, 90403
Overview
Fractional recruiting & growth for industry disrupters.
OrkaTV is a revolutionary startup that aims to deliver on the promise of Streaming TV by connecting Content Owners, Advertisers, and Viewers in the rapidly expanding Streaming TV ecosystem. Its core product, Orka Ads, functions as a leading programmatic advertising marketplace built to monetize high-quality, linear Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels and premium AVOD content. The company has achieved significant scale, connecting ad buyers to over 5,500 FAST Channels and CTV Apps and processing over 500 billion ad requests per month. OrkaTV aims to bridge the gap between traditional TV advertising and digital advertising, enabling a new era for television ad spending.
The Role
Recently, OrkaTV launched a new commerce initiative, called Keiko, that harnesses the power and scale of our Orka Ads Marketplace to bring products directly to consumers. The VP of Operations will play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling the business operations that power Keiko.

Design and implement the growth strategy and operations workflows for Keiko
Define and execute business plans across merchandising, marketing, partnerships, and operations
Oversee e-commerce strategy and digital storefront, including product launches, inventory management, customer experience, and revenue goals
Define the social media and content-driven commerce strategy, partnering with internal or external marketers to execute
Build and manage a small internal team and network of external collaborators including designers, fulfillment vendors, and content creators
Lead partnership strategy across affiliate programs, brand collaborations, and cultural activations — supported by marketing resources as needed
Collaborate with Orka leadership on cross-platform initiatives that drive visibility and brand integration between Keiko and OrkaTV
Drive performance tracking and business reporting to inform decisions and ensure operational excellence
Stay ahead of market trends in digital commerce, and translate insights into Keiko’s product and content roadmap
Serve as the public-facing champion of the brand when needed — at events, with press, or with collaborators
What You Bring
8+ years of experience in brand management, consumer product leadership, digital retail, or related entrepreneurial ventures
Deep knowledge of e-commerce operations, supply chain, order fulfilment
Entrepreneurial approach to GTM strategy

Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, forecasting, and vendor negotiations
Creative instincts paired with disciplined execution — able to take ideas from concept to launch quickly and effectively
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external partners in a startup or fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a talent for storytelling and brand development
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify), digital marketing tools, and merchandising strategy
