Role summary The Senior Product Manager will develop and execute marketing strategies and tactics for pharmaceutical products in the Rare Emergency Medicine portfolio. This individual will lead and implement projects to support the products, interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to ensure quality outcomes, on strategy and on deadline. This role can be based in Philadelphia or Boston and reports to the Rare Emergency Medicine Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities
Manage and lead promotional marketing tactics aligned with marketing strategy and business objectives
Develop and execute a data-driven brand strategy that drives brand growth and aligns to overall brand objectives
Lead a cross-functional congress strategy to accomplish objectives and accelerate the Rare Emergency Medicine portfolio
Incorporate feedback and insights to evolve brand strategy and tactics
Collaborate with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory to build and implement integrated medical/marketing initiatives
Integrate competitive analysis into commercial planning
Collaborate with other functions to develop memorable, accurate, and differentiating brand messaging
Manage Creative Agency relationships to deploy commercial tactics
Participate in annual budget planning to support promotional projects and manage monthly brand spend
Collaborate with relevant functions on projects to optimize budgeting, reimbursement, trade and metrics
Apply project management principles to facilitate commercial team project deployment and operational best practices
Coordinate commercial congress participation with stakeholders and direct operational/logistical needs for congresses
Develop/manage communications with the Sales team on deliverables, timelines, and feedback
Speakers’ Bureau Management – manage external vendors, agreements, and relationships with Key Opinion Leaders
Effectively manage contractors and vendor relationships for promotional programs
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regulating commercial activities
Maintain highest ethical and professional standards in all work

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
5–8 years of experience in pharmaceutical brand management
Proven ability to develop brand strategies across the product lifecycle
Experience in hospital selling environments, rare disease, or related sales preferred
Track record of growing brand revenues and profitability
Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence skills
Knowledge of marketing, commercial operations, regulatory processes, and related functions
Experience with complex marketing scenarios and driving growth
Ability to measure and track performance of programs
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
Experience with market research methodologies and commercial data sources
Understanding of clinical and regulatory concepts and applicable regulations
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Veeva CRM; experience with Veeva Vault is a plus
Self-motivated with strong project management and organizational skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to changing priorities
Travel to Commercial Congresses and field meetings may be required on an ad-hoc basis
