Role Summary:

As a Corporate Development Associate, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's investment strategy and executing high-impact transactions. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, national security, and global strategy, contributing directly to initiatives that influence decision-making at the highest levels. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support end-to-end transaction execution, including M&A and strategic investments Conduct market, industry, and geopolitical research to inform investment decisions Analyze political, economic, and national security trends in target investment areas Develop and present investment theses, pitch books, and marketing materials Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners Identify and evaluate new business opportunities aligned with corporate strategy Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting Proven success in M&A execution and commercial due diligence Strong understanding of accounting, corporate finance, and valuation methodologies Experience or familiarity with U.S. government contracting and national security is a plus Military background or exposure to defense/intelligence sectors is highly valued Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and manage multiple priorities Seniority level
