AECOM is seeking a visionary and dynamic
Data Center Section Manager – Power
to join our team. In this REMOTE role, you will work across AECOM’s expansive energy practice to build capabilities, drive growth, and deliver innovative solutions for data center developers and high-tech clients. You will deliver complex, fast-paced projects in natural gas power generation and substations, with a heavy focus on data centers. Responsibilities
Lead and inspire across AECOM’s energy practice and other lines to deliver integrated, cutting-edge solutions for data center energy projects. Inspire and monitor multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction. Represent AECOM as a thought leader in the energy sector, shaping the future of power delivery and generation for data centers. Spearhead business development, identify opportunities, lead pursuits, and craft winning proposals. Build and nurture relationships with data center developers, high-tech clients, and other key stakeholders. Develop and execute strategies to expand AECOM’s presence in the data center energy market. Oversee a project portfolio of design, development, and implementation of natural gas power plants and substations for data centers, delivering on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. Address technical challenges with creativity, leveraging AECOM’s global expertise. Collaborate across the energy practice to strengthen technical capabilities and drive continuous improvement. Partner with Buildings + Places and Environment to deliver holistic data center solutions. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to keep AECOM at the forefront of energy solutions. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS and 10 years of relevant experience with a focus on natural gas power plants or substations, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership. Proven success in leading pursuits, managing client relationships, and driving business growth. Understanding of energy requirements for data centers, including reliability, scalability, and sustainability. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations. Compensation and Benefits
Base pay range:
$170,000.00/yr - $205,000.00/yr . Offered rate based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Compensation: USD 170000 - USD 205000 - yearly. Location and Employment Type
