$180,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr Title: Head of US Operations, Insurance (Broker) Location: Tampa, FL Type: FTE, Direct Hire Base Salary Range DOE: $180-230k **No third parties** We're partnering with a global Insurance Broker that's accelerating its US expansion. They're building an ambitious Commercial Lines platform and need an experienced operations leader to design and run a scalable, technology-enabled operations organization that delivers outstanding client service and supports rapid growth. As Head of US Operations you will build the operating model for Commercial Lines, drive process excellence, and embed digital capabilities across operations. You'll be the business partner to commercial leadership, owning performance, compliance, and continuous improvement while growing and developing a high-performing operations team. Key Responsibilities: Define and implement the operational strategy that enables scalable growth across US Commercial Lines. Design end-to-end operating processes (policy administration, certificates, trade accounting, claims support and more) and embed automation and digital tooling to improve efficiency. Build, lead and coach operations teams - set KPIs, establish governance, and create clear career paths and training. Partner with Sales, Underwriting, Technology, HR and Finance to align operating priorities with commercial goals. Manage vendor and third-party relationships, contracts and outsourcing arrangements to govern cost and service quality. Own operational risk, compliance and quality control - ensure controls, reporting and audit readiness. Drive initiatives to improve client service, retention and operational metrics (turnaround times, error rates, cost-to-serve). Skilled Needed: Senior operational leader with 10+ years in insurance operations, several years in people leadership and proven experience scaling functions for growth. Deep knowledge of commercial lines operations; exposure to health/benefits and personal lines is a plus. Strong track record of transformation delivery - process redesign, automation, platform enablement and change management. Data-driven and outcome-oriented: you set and track KPIs, use metrics to make decisions and continuously improve. Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager - you can influence at C-suite level and translate strategy into operational execution. Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment and building structures where none exist. Degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or related field preferred.
