Head of Clearing Operations
to lead and scale U.S. clearing and settlement function. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving operational excellence. Responsibilities: Lead all clearing, settlement, and reconciliation processes for equities, options, and futures. Oversee margin, securities lending, and corporate actions functions. Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, CFTC, and clearinghouse regulations. Partner with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Technology to enhance infrastructure and workflows. Drive automation and process improvements to increase accuracy, speed, and scalability. Act as primary liaison with clearinghouses, regulators, and external partners. Build and develop a high-performing Clearing Operations team. Provide strategic insights to executive leadership to support new products and business growth. Qualifications: 10+ years of clearing/operations experience in a broker-dealer, clearing firm, or exchange. Series 24 - must have. Deep knowledge of U.S. clearing, margin rules, and regulatory frameworks. Proven leadership track record managing teams and large-scale operations. Experience with self-clearing broker-dealers strongly preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and strategic execution skills.
