Key Requirements
5 years of related experience or BA / BS and 2 years of relevant experience or relevant MBA / MS Familiarity with foreign currency transactions and ACH / Bank Wire regulations Demonstrated expertise of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience with data warehouse, data analytics, and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI) Previous knowledge with Workday preferred Responsibilities
Manage timing of vendor payments consistent with vendor agreements, company policy, and budget Process all non-Payroll requests for payment Coordinate purchase order and invoice payment issues with business partners and identify training gaps Communicate and enforce P2P policy Oversee centralized billing and upload process for preferred suppliers Support onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding for vendor partners Support B2B portals and Amex BIP program Research, address, and troubleshoot issues with supplier onboarding Support year-end and payment accrual process Communicate results and/or recommendations to Deans, Directors, Department and key financial administrators Refer potential significant problems to Internal Audit for review Gather data, analyze information, and process reports (90%) Review issues and provide necessary data and analysis during committee review Skills or Requirements
5 years of related experience or BA / BS and 2 years of relevant experience or relevant MBA / MS Leadership and expertise within Invoice to Payment and T&E workflows Ability to use disbursement data and trusted advisor relationships to identify opportunities and improve efficiency Familiarity with government/state/local payment regulations, commercial payment best practices, and working capital optimization Experience leading payment/disbursement operations in high-volume, high-risk environments Globally minded, self-motivated leader who can prioritize and collaborate across a decentralized organization Strong ability to build customer-focused, data-driven relationships and make sound technical decisions Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to influence and drive accountability What’s In It For You?
