Environmental Senior Project Manager - Natural Resources
Engineering Consulting Services (ECS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that all required tasks on a project from proposal to final invoice payment are completed either by themselves or by subordinates. The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for the completion and overall success of the project. Key Responsibilities: Actively mentor junior staff and support overall development of the team Attend project meetings and provide solutions to technical and administrative issues as necessary Market our services and maintain and further develop the client database Manage project budgets and prepare change orders Scheduling, training, and oversight of subordinate staff members Prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines Oversee environmental projects and assist junior staff with resolution of issues and training of field staff Oversee the preparation and review of proposals and change orders Prepare environmental reports, perform analysis, and provide recommendations Perform peer/senior review of deliverables prior to submission for Principal review Host or attend project discussions with clients and follow up on reports to determine if there are questions Collaborate with other managers to make staffing decisions Direct project set up and implementation with junior staff Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local wetlands regulations and guidelines Independently prepare reports to be reviewed by a Principal Communicate with junior staff to direct field work and perform site visits as required Supervise the coordination of project logistics and approach to fieldwork completion Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor and/or Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other Engineering degree applicable to Environmental Consulting Minimum 5 years of related experience Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) license preferred Skills And Abilities: Extensive knowledge of environmental principles and applications Extensive knowledge of permitting processes, environmental regulations, and environmental test methods Ability to manage and develop new clients Review and provide feedback of field and laboratory testing by others Excellent ability to manage and develop new clients Experience delegating/assigning projects and tasks to other staff ECS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
