Strategic Partner Development Manager, EV Charging
Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company with the mission to be the world's most trusted driver. Since its start as the Google Self-Driving Car Project in 2009, Waymo has focused on building the Waymo Driver—The World's Most Experienced Driver—to improve access to mobility while saving thousands of lives now lost to traffic crashes. The Business Development and Partnerships team helps plan Waymo's dynamic future and drive the company's go-to-market strategy. We work cross-functionally and leverage quantitative and qualitative analysis to build forward-looking partnerships that deliver on Waymo's strategic business objectives. As a member of this entrepreneurial and results-oriented team, you will have a significant impact on defining, developing and executing Waymo's commercial deployment. In this hybrid role, you will report to the Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships, Operations. You Will Identify and execute on opportunities to accelerate the acquisition of Waymo’s long-term charging infrastructure Manage strategic parking partners to enable fleet expansion in new and existing markets Implement effective partner agreements that achieve results across the Waymo partnerships ecosystem Develop and implement an overall strategic partnerships plan to accelerate Waymo's market entry into new markets Identify, negotiate, execute, and manage strategic partners in all markets to enable charging capacity at no existing power sites Use existing infrastructure and maintenance partners and identify new partners to support new market entry Collaborate with teams across time zones to define partnership strategy, build programs, create work plans, lead analysis, communicate final recommendations to move partnerships forward You Have 8+ years of experience in partner management, partner development, or account management. Experience building relationships with executive stakeholders at mobility or charging companies Operate in an evolving environment Demonstrated experience working with teams and all levels, internally and externally The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is $204,000—$259,000 USD. Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.
