global leader in business and technology services Position: Project Coordinator/Specialist III - Launch Specialist Location: San Francisco, CA - Hybrid Mode: Contract - W2 Partial Remote / Travel-Based About the Role The client is seeking a Launch Specialist to onboard restaurant merchants, provide hands-on training, and enhance their overall experience throughout their lifecycle on the platform. This role is highly cross-functional—working with sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics teams—and involves significant travel to merchant sites both regionally and nationwide. This is a hybrid role (partially remote, partially in-office in San Francisco) with regular travel required. You will report to the Manager of Launch and Product Ops within the Platform Operations organization Responsibilities Serve as the primary interface with restaurant merchants, ensuring a smooth onboarding and positive platform experience. Design and execute onboarding strategies to create a seamless and delightful merchant experience. Provide hands-on support with hardware setup and software configuration. Develop training materials and lead in-person and virtual merchant staff trainings. Analyze and identify opportunities to improve merchant workflows to maximize adoption and revenue. Deliver results quickly while adapting to an evolving environment. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to refine onboarding and operational strategies Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years’ experience in hospitality, restaurant management, or systems implementation. Strong organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately, effectively, and on time. Excellent customer support and communication skills (both internal and external). Experience working cross-functionally across multiple teams. Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels. Spanish fluency strongly preferred.
