Head of Project Management at X4 Engineering
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large, complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. In this role, you’ll oversee the full lifecycle of multiple jobs—ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets are achieved. You’ll partner with Superintendents and internal teams to drive execution and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Lead all phases of construction: preconstruction, budgeting, subcontractor buyout, schedule creation, cost control, execution, and closeout
Oversee subcontractor procurement, scopes of work, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and project status reports
Monitor safety compliance and enforce jobsite safety protocols
Lead project meetings, coordinate site logistics, and manage communication between owners, consultants, and field teams
Review and approve invoices, manage monthly billing, and maintain cost reports
Lead and mentor project engineers, assistant PMs, and coordinators
Ensure quality control processes are implemented and adhered to
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
Proven track record managing large-scale or multiple complex projects concurrently
Experience negotiating and managing subcontractor agreements and buyouts
Working knowledge of building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and industry best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar) required
LEED experience preferred
OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR certification preferred
Soft Skills

Skilled communicator able to coordinate internal teams, clients, and subs
Experienced mentor who leads by example and builds high-performing teams
