Responsibilities

Technical Responsibilities

Participate in the design, configuration, and delivery of SAP EWM solutions.

Translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Develop and maintain interfaces between SAP EWM and third-party systems (WCS, TMS, ERP, carrier systems).

Work with integration technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), and middleware tools (SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft).

Ensure seamless exchange of master data, transactional data, and status updates with external systems.

Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing for enhancements and interfaces.

Support custom developments using ABAP, BADIs, user exits, and other SAP integration techniques.

Assist in designing RF frameworks, EDI/IDoc interfaces, and logistics integrations.

Perform configuration, troubleshooting, and system optimization during implementation and support.

Prepare technical documentation and ensure adherence to project standards.

Functional Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for warehouse and logistics processes.

Configure SAP EWM for inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, physical inventory, and warehouse automation.

Customize and optimize POSC, LOSC, RF frameworks, storage control, and warehouse structure setup.

Work closely with cross-functional SAP teams (MM, SD, TM, PP, etc.) for seamless process integration.

Prepare and maintain functional specifications for reports, forms, enhancements, and interfaces.

Support integrations with 3PLs and automation systems (e.g., conveyors, pick-to-light, robotics).

Provide day-to-day functional and technical support to resolve operational issues.

Document process flows, functional specifications, and integration maps.

Coordinate with business teams, IT, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Your Skills And Experience

Solid background in SAP EWM functional design, technical development, and integration troubleshooting.

Proven experience in both functional and technical EWM roles across multiple full-cycle implementations.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and supply chain business practices.

Expertise in SAP EWM integration with WCS, TMS, ERP, carrier systems, and third-party logistics providers.

Proficiency with integration technologies: IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services (SOAP/REST), SAP PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft.

Strong knowledge of SAP MM, SD, TM, and PP integration points.

Hands-on experience with RF frameworks, POSC, LOSC, WOCR, and warehouse automation solutions.

Skilled in ABAP development, BADIs, user exits, and performance optimization techniques.

Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging abilities.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.

Ability to mentor and provide guidance to both technical and functional team members.
