Vice President (Private credit)

We’re partnering with a leading insurance company looking to hire a Vice President within their asset management team. This role offers the opportunity to take a senior, hands-on role in sourcing, evaluating, and monitoring private credit and alternative investments across a $20B+ portfolio, with approximately 30% allocated to alternatives and non-core assets. Key Responsibilities: Lead sourcing, due diligence, and evaluation of private credit and alternative investment opportunities, including fund and co-investment structures. Monitor existing investments and managers, assessing performance, risk, and portfolio allocation. Develop investment memoranda and recommendations for review by senior investment leadership. Maintain portfolio models, performance analytics, and reporting tools to support investment decision-making. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on portfolio execution, structuring, and onboarding of new investments. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in institutional investing, with strong expertise in private credit and alternatives. Experience with sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring; insurance general account experience preferred. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and performance measurement skills. Undergraduate degree required; advanced degree and CFA/CAIA preferred. The role is a Mid-Senior level position, offering a salary range of $170,000 - $240,000.
