My client, a Non-Profit that is an American icon for culture and performing arts, is looking to hire a CFO. In this role, you will report to the CEO and will be a valued member of the Executive and Leadership Teams. You will work across the organization to ensure sound financial management and a strong infrastructure. The CFO will be crucial in ensuring the success of the department and play a pivotal role in creating, maintaining, and expanding transaction and financial excellence. You will oversee the financial and accounting operations in the following areas: Financial Strategy and Leadership, Audit & Compliance, Budgeting & Forecasting, Grants & Funding Management, and Team Leadership & Collaboration. This role will be instrumental in implementing change and working alongside the CEO to implement best practices. Ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, bold leadership, and a passion for the mission. 15+ years of experience is ideal, and someone who has worked in the non-profit sector is also desired. You will interface with the executive board, so you must be able to build trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including staff, Board members, peers, and external partners. My client is in the office 3 days a week in the upper west side of Manhattan and is offering a competitive compensation.
