Overview
The USC Marshall School of Business is accepting applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track faculty position for the 2025-26 academic year. This position will be available in the Marketing Department. USC defines two categories of appointment for faculty working less than full-time. These are "adjunct" and "part-time." The difference in the categories is primarily based on the nature of a faculty member's professional work outside of teaching at USC. Responsibilities
Teach courses in Marketing as an adjunct or part-time faculty member for the 2025-26 academic year. Possibly teach 1-2 classes per year (adjunct) or up to 3 courses per semester (part-time), with limits to be confirmed by the dean; increases may be considered as full-time faculty numbers rise. Qualifications
Requirements for non-tenure-track positions include a doctoral degree or foreign equivalent in an area of study appropriate to the hiring department. No specific experience is required, though consideration may be given to candidates with experience teaching at the college/university level and/or who can demonstrate evidence of research competence.
