Overview
The USC Marshall School of Business is accepting applications for a part-time, non-tenure-track faculty position for the 2025-26 academic year in the Marketing Department. USC defines two categories of appointment for faculty working less than full-time: Adjunct and Part-time. Adjunct Faculty are typically employed full-time in a primary profession elsewhere and teach few courses; Part-time Faculty are not employed full-time in a primary position elsewhere and may teach up to a maximum of 3 courses per semester (with a goal to limit to 2 as full-time faculty numbers increase). Responsibilities
Teach part-time as described by USC policy, typically involving 1-2 courses per year as an adjunct or up to 3 courses per semester as part-time faculty, with the possibility of 2 courses per semester as full-time numbers increase. Contribute to the department’s instructional missions within the Marketing program for the 2025-26 academic year. Qualifications
Requirements for non-tenure-track positions include a doctoral degree or foreign equivalent in an area appropriate to the hiring department. No specific teaching experience is required, but consideration may be given to candidates with college/university teaching experience and/or evidence of research competence. Compensation and Benefits
Per-course salary range: $7,500–$17,000. Salary dependent on qualifications; employee benefits for full-time faculty are described by USC policy. Application Process
