The Manager, Marketing Communications will identify, develop, and promote stories, support leadership by drafting remarks, design and develop collateral, and lead email marketing strategy. Identifies, develops and promotes stories working collaboratively with the DUA leadership and University’s communications teams. Supports leadership by drafting remarks for speaking engagements. Designs, develops, and coordinates collateral for appeals and events. Leads the email marketing strategy within alumni and donor relations. Supports and manages the development, build, and distribution of dynamic monthly email content. Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for helping define strategies and manage the execution of communications, engagement, and connection to Kennesaw State. Responsibilities
Works to strategize, plan, develop and execute marketing and communications campaigns. Ensures projects are moving forward in a timely manner. Works with the web team to maintain websites and ensure they are updated. Strategically works to maintain social accounts to build audience and increase engagement. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations. Three to five years of related marketing communications experience. Preferred Qualifications
Related marketing communications experience within a major, comprehensive fundraising campaign. Project management experience. Account management experience. Strong written and oral communications. Familiarity with project management software. Proficient in the use of computer applications. USG Core Values
