Conveyance Project Manager

to support delivering world-class water and wastewater conveyance and storage projects for municipal, private, and agricultural clients. You’ll lead a team of engineers through the design process, interact directly with clients to develop and deliver conveyance solutions, and act as a seller-doer empowered to develop and manage projects in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities

Lead project teams through all phases of planning, design, construction support, and closeout to meet scope, schedule, budget, and contract requirements. Develop and manage client relationships, lead business development activities, and pursue new work with key clients and stakeholders. Mentor and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team; grow talent and ensure high-quality deliverables. Lead the design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals, and reports. Collaborate with Jacobs Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teams to maximize design, digital technology, and support capabilities. Serve as technical liaison between project owners and the design team; support strategic growth and contract negotiations. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline. Minimum of 15 years of experience in water or wastewater civil engineering. Licensed California Professional Engineer. Demonstrated track record delivering conveyance-related water or wastewater projects. Proven ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team. Ability to lead design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals, and reports. Ability to work a hybrid schedule. Ideally, you’ll also have: Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Experience serving diverse clients in conveyance pipeline design, project management, and pump station design. Business development, networking, and client relationship skills to grow market share. Experience supporting business development with local municipalities; ability to work collaboratively and independently. Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this position is $150,500.00 to $265,900.00 per year. Within the range, pay is determined by location, skills, experience, and education. The company offers health, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 401(k), stock purchase options, and other benefits. Eligible employees may enroll in deferred compensation plans. Jacobs provides an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, one floating holiday, caregiver leave, and potential bonuses or stock-based rewards depending on role.
