As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a program of activity and leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan. Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and implement activity and leisure programs for residents Meet residents’ social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs Align activities with the resident care plan Qualifications
A fire and passion for working with seniors A flexible, fun, and energetic personality Accreditation as a Certified Activities Director preferred Bachelor’s degree in recreation therapy or related area; licensed or registered nationally or by the state Minimum of one year of experience as an Activities Director in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting Two years of experience conducting social and recreational programs within the past five years, with at least one year full-time in a resident activities program in a health care setting Professional image in appearance and behavior Excellent written and oral communication skills Why Tutera
