Lead, Field AI Strategy at Okta. Reporting to the Chief of Staff to the CRO, this role owns and drives the Field AI roadmap—sourcing high-impact use cases, piloting solutions, and scaling those that deliver measurable impact. You will stand up and scale the Field “AI Center of Excellence” within the Office of the CRO and partner with Go-To-Market, Product, Operations, and Executive teams. What You’ll Be Doing
Shape our Field AI Strategy: define the strategy and prioritized roadmap to improve field productivity and customer experience through the use of AI Stand up the Field AI Center of Excellence within the Office of the CRO as the central hub and driver of the Field AI roadmap (with use cases by user group) Source high-impact AI use cases by user group (Sales, Presales, Partner, Enablement) in partnership with Field SMEs and cross-functional teams (Corp AI, Business Technology, GTM S&O, Enablement, and others) Stay ahead of AI trends to ensure the roadmap reflects best-in-class solutions while complying with corporate standards Orchestrate Roadmap Execution: lead end-to-end planning and execution of projects prioritized on the Field AI roadmap Define scope, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery Lead incubation cycles with centralized teams and end-user groups: pilot, test, fail fast, and scale proven prototypes into Field-ready solutions Run cross-functional steering and alignment processes for initiatives, securing buy-in from relevant teams Partner with technical and operational teams to ground pilots in enterprise requirements and real user needs Drive Cross-Functional Alignment: act as central hub between Field COE, end-user groups, and central teams (Corporate AI strategy, Business Technology, GTM Strategy & Ops) Articulate program strategy, goals, and progress to key stakeholders with clear updates and managed expectations Measure Success: define and analyze metrics for use case success (e.g., user adoption, satisfaction, revenue) and program success (e.g., ROI, on-time delivery); use data-driven insights to guide the program What You’ll Bring
Minimum 8+ years of experience in Business Operations, Innovation, Strategy and/or Product Management roles; GTM/Field experience required Product Management, complex Program Management, or Consulting background preferred Experience with AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Conversational Intelligence, SFDC) ideally in a GTM context Product Manager mindset: strategic thinking, strong user empathy, defined success metrics, scoped MVPs, and pilots Builder: track record incubating new initiatives or products across multiple stakeholder groups Executive-level Execution: ability to manage complex, interconnected projects, mitigate risks, and drive on-time delivery Influential Leader: strong communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority Field Acumen: understanding of the B2B IT/Software customer journey and GTM teams (Sales, Presales, Partners) Prioritization and Decision-Making: tough trade-offs based on customer value and feasibility Technical Awareness: solid understanding of AI tech stack and development processes to engage Operations, Business Technology, Security, and Product The annual base salary range for this position varies by location and is provided in the job posting.
