About The Role: As Director, Payments and Cash Management (PCM) Sales, USA, in our Transaction Banking team you will lead strategic initiatives to originate PCM business opportunities with USA headquartered / based conglomerates for the ANZ network across AU, NZ and Asia pacific. Your role will focus on delivering innovative treasury solutions and advisory services to address complex client challenges, leveraging deep market insights and robust banking networks. Role Location: New York City, USA Role Type: Full-time What will your day look like? In this dynamic role, your day will be filled with high-impact activities that drive client success and business growth across regions. As a Director, Payments and Cash Management (PCM) Sales USA you will: Originate PCM opportunities from US customers and collaborate with client coverage, TB, and enablement teams to drive execution across Asia, Australia and New Zealand, while proactively generating new business through structured client outreach to build a sustainable sales pipeline Manage and expand a diverse portfolio of Corporate and Non-Bank Financial Institution clients with multi-regional operations. Deliver an exceptional client experience by taking ownership of origination, and collaborating closely with Local GRP Sales, Strategic Sales teams, and Operations to ensure seamless, end-to-end solution delivery. Oversee and coordinate responses to RFPs together with Strategic Sales to ensure successful outcomes and deepening client engagement. Plan and track client engagement to drive revenue growth and profitability, aligning with strategic business goals. Prepare and present strategic client reviews, uncovering insights and identifying new opportunities through well-developed account plans Ensure full compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including AML and KYC standards. Stay ahead of market trends and industry developments to offer clients the most relevant and innovative financial solutions. Proactively generate new business opportunities through a structured client calling program, contributing to a robust and sustainable sales pipeline. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. A strong foundation in institutional banking, with hands-on experience in Transaction Banking, Corporate Finance, or Relationship Management. Deep expertise in payments, cash & liquidity Management, along with familiarity in related products such as Cards, FX and Trade Finance Demonstrated success in managing and growing complex client portfolios, particularly across Corporate and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and execute sales and portfolio growth plans. An established or rapidly developable network within the ANZ region, with the ability to leverage relationships effectively. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver insights-driven client reviews and account plans. Solid understanding of local and international regulations, including currency restrictions, risk management, AML, and KYC. Insight into institutional client needs and the ability to anticipate future requirements through strategic questioning and creative thinking. Proven ability to manage competing priorities across time zones and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Awareness of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the financial services industry.
