Project Director , you will lead the execution of complex infrastructure projects across natural gas, liquids, and power systems. You'll be responsible for multidisciplinary teams managing the design and delivery of key energy facilities such as processing plants, pipelines, compressor stations, meter stations, and power generation units. The role demands technical leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence. You'll work in an environment that values integrity, safety, and continuous learning—backed by a culture of teamwork and innovation.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project teams including engineers, project managers, and technical specialists
Drive the development and management of multi-year budgets with a focus on cost control and financial transparency
Oversee creation, review, and approval of detailed project documentation and technical specifications
Evaluate technical options, analyze risk, and recommend strategic solutions to optimize outcomes
Report project status, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership in a clear, actionable manner
Implement scalable work processes, tools, and governance frameworks to improve execution and efficiency
Build and maintain strategic relationships with contractors, partners, and customers
Ensure projects align with DOT design standards, regulatory compliance, and internal engineering standards
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in engineering, project management, project controls, or commercial operations within the oil and gas industry
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering or related field
PE License and/or PMP Certification
Proficiency in project scheduling tools: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Oracle Applications
Experience with Power BI for analytics and reporting
Strong understanding of DOT design standards and engineering best practices
Previous leadership roles managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects
Experience working with combined cycle power generation systems
