We help deliver systems and services that keep our skies safe and connected. This role focuses on shaping the future of U.S. airspace safety and efficiency as a Quality Analyst. Responsibilities
Review business, technical, and system requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. Conduct manual and automated testing of applications, systems, and integrations. Validate that deliverables meet FAA functional, performance, and compliance requirements. Track, document, and manage defects and issues, ensuring timely resolution. Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria. Support regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure compliance with FAA quality standards, safety frameworks, and federal IT requirements. Maintain clear and accurate quality documentation, metrics, and reports. Participate in design reviews, readiness assessments, and test evaluations. Support audit-ready QA documentation. Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and QA best practices. Familiarity with defect tracking systems and root cause analysis. Experience executing and documenting manual and automated tests. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance. Bachelor\'s degree and 12 years of experience or Master\'s degree and 10 years of experience or Associate\'s degree and 14 years of experience or HS diploma/equivalent and 16 years of experience. 5+ years of experience in quality assurance or testing roles. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies. Hands-on experience with test case management tools. Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Qualifications
Direct FAA or NAS configuration management experience. Certifications such as ISTQB Certified Tester, CSTE, or Certified Quality Analyst (CQA). Experience supporting FAA NextGen modernization programs or aviation-related systems. Familiarity with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar). Background in performance/load testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner). Experience with data validation, API testing, and database QA (SQL, Postman, etc.). Knowledge of aviation operations or FAA system environments. Compensation and Equal Opportunity
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. Salary is determined by factors including scope, experience, education, location, and contract considerations. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus may apply where applicable. EEO:
