Overview
Senior AI Solutions Architect at NetCentrics to support mission-critical government AI transformation initiatives. You will embed directly with federal agencies to accelerate their adoption of AI—from ideation and strategy through prototyping and full-scale production deployment. You’ll combine deep AI/ML expertise, a product-oriented mindset, and exceptional communication skills to navigate complex government environments and deliver impactful solutions. Responsibilities
Lead Strategic Discovery: Partner with federal stakeholders to identify high-value AI opportunities, define use cases, and align on mission objectives. Design AI-Native Solutions: Architect end-to-end AI/ML systems, including large language models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, data architectures, and orchestration workflows. Accelerate Delivery: Collaborate with Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) and development teams to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate functional solutions. Forge Partnerships: Serve as the primary technical liaison between government clients, internal engineering teams, and implementation partners. Prototype and Validate: Build proof-of-concept projects to validate designs and demonstrate measurable value. Ensure Compliance and Security: Design solutions aligned with FedRAMP, security accreditation, ethical AI standards, and federal data governance policies. Codify and Scale Best Practices: Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and reference architectures to scale AI capabilities across agencies. Drive Executive Alignment: Communicate business impact and influence leadership buy-in through clear storytelling and solution framing. Translate Field Insights: Capture lessons learned from deployments to shape product strategy and platform evolution. Enable Organizational Scale: Provide technical documentation, assets, and training to ensure sustained client success. Education/Experience/Clearance
Active sponsored DoD Secret Clearance OR the ability to obtain one. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field (preferred). 7+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or field engineering, with significant focus on AI/ML. Proven track record delivering AI/ML solutions for federal or public-sector clients. Experience managing projects from ideation through production deployment. U.S. Citizenship required. Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems and GenAI pipelines (prompt engineering, RAG, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.). Proficiency in Python and SQL, with the ability to participate in engineering discussions and code-level decisions. Fluency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containers, Terraform, and enterprise integration patterns. Strong understanding of federal data management, governance, and security requirements. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills for executive and non-technical audiences. Strategic thinker who thrives in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
