Pediatric Hospitalists
to join our well-established team. Candidates must be eligible for a CA Medical License and be board certified/board eligible in Pediatrics. Completion of a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine or post-residency experience in inpatient pediatric care is highly preferred, but not required. Responsibilities
Provide day and night inpatient care for pediatric medical and surgical patients from birth to young adulthood, in collaboration with residents and attending teams. Contribute to resident teaching and participate in quality improvement, community outreach, and administrative activities as available and encouraged. Support the inpatient pediatric teaching rotation for the UCI-CHOC residency program (83 pediatric residents) and related family practice residencies; serve as a primary teaching location for collaborating medical schools. Operate within a large, established group of ~40 hospitalists across three locations and participate in opportunities related to quality improvement and education. Qualifications
Active CA medical license or eligibility. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics. Fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine or post-residency inpatient pediatric care experience is highly preferred but not required. Ability to work with residents and participate in teaching and quality improvement activities. About CHOC and the Team
