This firm has established itself as the go-to owner’s representative for tackling high-profile, high-impact projects across construction and technology. What You’ll Be Doing
This role will provide critical project management oversight on high-impact Electric Utility substation and transmission line projects. Project Management
Lead planning, engineering, construction, and closeout of substation and T-Line projects. Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, and budgets for a portfolio of utility projects. Manage contractor performance, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, safety, and regulatory standards. Identify risks early, recommend solutions, and drive proactive resolution to keep projects on track. Oversee resource allocation and ensure compliance with NERC, FERC, and utility standards. Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary liaison with utility clients, EPC contractors, and regulators. Facilitate project review meetings and provide clear, concise reporting to client leadership. Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholders to align execution with client expectations. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of project activities, risks, and change management. Deliver front-page quality reporting to clients and senior leadership. Ensure project closeout documentation meets enterprise and regulatory standards. What You Bring
Required: 5 years of project management experience with infrastructure projects. 3+ years of direct experience managing end-to-end substation and/or transmission line projects. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Strong background in electric utility project lifecycles, planning through commissioning. Proven ability to manage budgets, contractors, and complex stakeholder environments. Familiarity with project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Preferred
PMP or PE license. Experience with Investor-Owned Utilities (IOUs), Public Utility Districts (PUDs), or EPC firms. Hands-on experience in substation upgrades, new builds, or T-Line rebuild projects. Why Join
