The Family Resource Center (FRC) Case Manager will provide intensive case management, family advocacy, and crisis intervention for families in the Tenderloin. The ideal candidate will have bilingual skills, experience working with children and families, and knowledge of community resources and services. Position Summary

The FRC Case Manager will communicate, translate, and use their bilingual skills to act as a liaison, advocate, and resource out in the community. Collaborating with other GLIDE program staff, schools, community organizations, and Protective Service Workers, the FRC Case Manager will offer trauma-informed family engagement and perinatal navigation. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessment, surveys, and enrollment, and provide information on community resources and GLIDE services. Determine eligibility and review/assist with applications for entitled benefits and financial resources. Develop and attend FRC outreach events and build rapport and working relationships with community members and organizations. Collaborate with other providers from community agencies, GLIDE program staff, interns, and volunteers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated services. Facilitate and co-facilitate parent groups, specifically for expecting parents and parents with newborns. Lead and facilitate FRC’s weekly Mommy/Daddy & Me group. Deliver services in the community, including school meetings, and manage documentation in a timely manner. Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training events, and supervisory meetings. Qualifications

Fluency in English and Spanish. Ability to grammatically correct correspondence, reports, and assessments in both English and Spanish. Experience working with children, youth, and families in a community-based social service agency. Knowledge of comorbid and chronic mental health disorders. Commitment to strength-based values and a radically inclusive, just, and loving community. Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Ability to adapt to the cultural, familial, linguistic, political, and community context. Education And/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or other health and human services with 2+ years of relevant work experience. Experience developing and leading workshops and activities for families/adults. Knowledge of current local, state, and national resources, services, and benefits programs. Must have or complete CPR and First Aid Training, and pass tuberculosis screening.
