Project Manager - Commercial/Schools/Healthcare Exp
Our client, a well-regarded General Contractor in the DC area is seeking a PM to join their team. If you’re a proven construction professional eager to work on impactful commercial projects and collaborate with/learn from seasoned industry experts, this role could be a fantastic fit. In this role, you’ll oversee the life cycle of commercial construction projects, managing all project phases from planning to closeout. Key Responsibilities : Creating schedules, managing budgets, and coordinating project phases to keep everything on track. Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project quality and timeliness. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications. Prepare and manage project documents such as submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Track project costs, help implement cost-control strategies, and support documentation for accurate project accounting. Communicate with stakeholders to maintain high levels of client satisfaction. What You Bring : Minimum 5 years of experience
in construction management for a General Contractor. Familiarity with project scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and construction management tools. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
