Davids Health Sciences seeks a VP of Marketing to lead our multi-channel growth strategy during a critical growth phase. This role requires proven experience building high-performing marketing programs across e-commerce, Amazon, and retail channels while maintaining premium brand positioning. In addition, this position requires deep expertise in brand strategy, creative management, media, retail marketing, community-driven marketing, digital performance marketing, and organic social and influencer marketing. This customer-obsessed leader thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and has a bias for growth and action. He/She reports directly to the CEO and Founder Eric Buss. We're looking for an extraordinary marketing leader who can hit the ground running and bring strategic thinking, positivity, and analytical rigor to the pursuit of our mission and drive. Balance rapid growth with premium positioning Key Opportunity : Lead marketing for category-disrupting nHa technology in expanding premium oral care market Core Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution Multi-Channel Growth: Drive top-of-funnel awareness, demand generation, and revenue growth across Amazon, retail, and DTC channels DTC P&L Management: Full responsibility for direct-to-consumer channel, focusing on acquisition, conversion, and customer lifetime value Develop integrated annual marketing plan aligned with company growth targets Channel Davids brand strategy into cohesive creative campaigns that create "brand heat" and drive conversion Expert storytelling to drive awareness for Davids brand across all marketing channels and touchpoints Identify and execute new marketing opportunities delivering significant revenue impact Build strategic partnerships that enhance credibility and expand market reach Retail: Develop marketing programs that drive POS conversion and support buyer relationships DTC: Complete ownership of website UX, conversion optimization, retention programs, and subscription growth Digital: Performance marketing across paid social, Google, programmatic, and emerging channels with full agency resource Amazon: Channel optimization, agency support and top-of-funnel marketing Brand Leadership: Position Davids as the premium nHa alternative, educating consumers on health benefits vs traditional fluoride Establish and deliver against clear ROI metrics across all marketing investments Brand & Marketing Leadership Manage creative briefing, development, and go-to-market execution Partner with Creative Director on brand storytelling that differentiates Davids in the competitive landscape Drive customer retention through loyalty programs, community building and innovative marketing strategies Oversee comprehensive demand generation programs that build brand awareness and drive qualified leads Team & Operations Build and lead high-performing marketing team including current Senior Marketing Manager, working closely with Brand Director and Content Manager Ensure excellent execution across all marketing departments and agencies through strong project management and accountability systems Manage strategic agency relationships for paid advertising, Amazon optimization, and lifecycle marketing Partner with Sales Director on integrated retail strategies and VP Operations on capacity and demand planning Establish KPI frameworks and reporting systems for campaign performance Required Qualifications

Experience 10+ years marketing leadership in high-growth CPG companies Proven track record growing DTC, Amazon, and retail channels in an entrepreneurial environment Success managing P&L for digital commerce channels Demonstrated ability to craft compelling brand narratives and storytelling that drive customer engagement and loyalty Proven experience launching market-changing innovations and breakthrough products in competitive categories Expertise Deep knowledge of e-commerce, consumer behavior, and digital marketing best practices with strong analytical skills and experience in performance measurement and optimization Advanced understanding of retail marketing, POS conversion drivers, and multi-channel CPG marketing strategies Proven experience educating consumers on complex product benefits (health, wellness, or technical products) and scaling DTC channels while maintaining premium brand positioning Experience with subscription and retention marketing models combined with expertise in demand generation and top-of-funnel marketing strategies Strong storytelling aptitude with ability to shape compelling narratives that engage customers and drive conversion and loyalty Expertise in innovation marketing and introducing disruptive products that challenge established market categories Demonstrated success with limited resources and high-impact marketing Leadership Experience building and managing cross-functional marketing teams Proven ability to work with creative teams and manage agency relationships Strong project management skills in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments Natural collaboration style with C-level executives and cross-functional partners Demonstrated ability to ensure excellent execution across multiple marketing departments and external agencies Preferred Qualifications Experience in health/wellness, natural products, or premium consumer goods Track record with subscription/retention and acquisition marketing models Understanding of regulatory requirements in health/wellness product marketing What Makes This Role Unique Category Innovation: Lead marketing for breakthrough nHa technology that's disrupting the premium oral care market Multi-Channel Complexity: Optimize performance across Amazon, DTC, retail, and emerging channels Premium Brand Scaling: Maintain luxury positioning while achieving significant growth targets Scientific Marketing: Translate complex health benefits into compelling consumer education Market Disruption Opportunity: Shape marketing strategy for a product that challenges decades of fluoride dominance Growth Stage Opportunity: Shape marketing strategy during critical company scaling phase Success Metrics (First 18 Months) Top-of-Funnel Growth: Significantly increase brand awareness, customer acquisition and demand generation across all channels DTC Growth: Substantially scale direct-to-consumer revenue and customer acquisition Customer Retention: Improve subscription conversion rates and customer lifetime value across channels Retail Performance: Increase sell-through velocity at key retail partners Brand Metrics: Establish measurable improvements in brand awareness and customer loyalty Team Development: Build marketing capabilities to support continued rapid growth Timeline & Location Immediate start preferred to capitalize on 2025 growth momentum. San Diego area preferred, hybrid arrangements considered for exceptional candidates.
