(Chantilly), VA What You Will Be Doing Delivering adaptive reading workshops that develop foundational skills in phonics, comprehension, and fluency Designing personalized motivational sessions that boost engagement through gamified literacy milestones Analyzing student progress data to continuously refine instruction and surface actionable insights Collaborating with the tech team to evaluate and enhance AI literacy tools based on classroom results Developing scalable content that personalizes reading pathways for diverse learners What You Won’t Be Doing Following a rigid scripted curriculum that ignores student needs or data Spending hours on traditional lesson planning, grading, or administrative overhead Working in overcrowded classrooms with limited resources Managing behavior all day instead of focusing on reading instruction Teaching in isolation without contributing to program or product development Literacy Program Coordinator Key Responsibilities Develop a scalable, AI-enhanced reading program that enables early elementary students to achieve grade-level proficiency and cultivate a lifelong love of reading. Basic Requirements Bachelor's degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent) At least 2 years of experience delivering small-group reading interventions to early elementary students Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre-written curricula Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Willingness to work on-site at one of our campuses: Orange County, CA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; or Washington, D.C.
