The Communications and Engagement Analyst supports Crown Family Philanthropies by advancing communications, events, program development, and administrative initiatives. Reporting to the Communications Manager, the Analyst helps manage internal communications, develop program materials, and create content for the foundation's portal. The role supports event planning, relationship building with diverse stakeholders, and programming for family engagement, including onboarding and learning modules. Key responsibilities include maintaining data systems, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth team operations. Responsibilities
Communications Internal communications: Lead updates to and maintenance of core internal communications resources (e.g. learning resources, onboarding materials, etc.) Asset development: Provide support to colleagues on the creation, compilation, and delivery of program materials; storytelling and content creation: help manage and post engaging content to the internal communications portal Multimedia: Assist with simple video editing and graphic design tasks (strongly desired but not mandatory) Engagement Events: Support event planning and execution; provide occasional (roughly 2-3x per year) weekend event support Relationship development and stewardship: Build strong, trusting relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, from senior leaders to junior staff; liaise with stakeholders outside the foundation Program development and implementation support: Support updates to and facilitation of philanthropic programming, committee onboarding, learning modules, especially for younger family members Administration Data management: Update databases and documents in a timely manner, including donation/grant records, nonprofit affiliations, and engagements Team support: Provide primary support to the team to ensure smooth scheduling and responsive stakeholder communication, including helping manage the Director\'s calendar General Coordination: Coordinate with the CFP team across program areas, operations, strategy, and within the enterprise for cross-functional communication and consistency Collaboration: Participate in CFP Team activities that advance organizational aims around social impact and family engagement Growth and leadership: Engage in initiatives that foster team collaboration, including meetings, trainings, retreats, and special projects, taking the lead where interest and opportunity align Qualifications
Bachelor\'s Degree or commensurate field experience At least 2 years of experience engaging stakeholders for social impact or related initiatives Knowledge of the social sector; nonprofit sector experience is a plus Desire for continued growth and learning essential Dynamic and enthusiastic personality with exceptional relationship management skills Strong and versatile oral and written communications skills, including ability to write clearly, ask effective questions, listen, observe, and synthesize inputs with sensitivity and professionalism Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, especially for administrative tasks and data entry Strong project management skills with ability to manage a high volume of work, meet deadlines, and balance multiple priorities Tech savvy with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with online platforms (Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey); experience with Canva/Adobe, basic video editing is a plus; familiarity with databases is a plus Client-service orientation and inquisitive nature Experience engaging diverse networks Continuous learner open to feedback and growth Discretion, humility, and sensitivity in communications Proactive mindset with willingness to propose improvements Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year as needed Starting Salary Range: $80k - $90k.
