Overview

Contract Problem Solving Court Coordinator (Family Engagement Coordinator). This is a grant funded contract position through September 30, 2026. Location: Denver, CO (contract role with potential for cross-coverage across problem solving courts). Salary range: $66,917.00 - $97,030.00. FLSA Status: Exempt. This posting may be used to create a Talent Pool. Talent Pools may be used for a period of 10 months after the closing date on a job posting. Mission

Responsibilities

Participates in problem solving court program management and is responsible for the administrative work and coordination of day-to-day operations in the assigned court(s). May assume coordinating responsibilities for more than one problem solving court (e.g., Adult Drug Court, DUI Court, Family Drug Court, Juvenile Drug Court, Mental Health Court and Veterans Court) depending on jurisdiction and skill set. Plan, implement, and monitor day-to-day activities to ensure courts implement key components while serving the appropriate target populations. Develop and implement a strategic plan in collaboration with stakeholders to meet long-term community goals and ensure program sustainability. Serve as an active member of the problem solving court team; direct and maintain grant accounting and auditing systems; may assist in writing/managing grants. Facilitate interdisciplinary training for problem solving court team members; maintain cooperative relationships with program stakeholders (treatment agencies, community organizations, Probation Services, Division of Behavioral Health, Defense Counsel, Prosecution, Judicial Officers, and other court staff). Attend conferences, meetings, and committees; participate in pre-court staff meetings and court hearings as appropriate. Consult with supervisor and problem solving judges on organizational and managerial issues including court efficiency and quality assurance. May facilitate community presentations, assist in docket development, coordinate community service, promote team integrity, develop resources, monitor quality assurance, develop agendas, and collect data with program evaluators. Ensure problem solving and program fidelity in conjunction with the team; act as liaison between the problem solving court judge, court personnel, probation staff, treatment providers, attorneys, and team members. Compile participant information and disseminate to team members prior to pre-court staff meetings and court reviews; may complete standardized intake assessments. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree (preferred in social sciences, public or court administration, or related field) and one year of experience in criminal justice, chemical dependency assessment and treatment, or related field. Additional related work may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis. OR:

Graduation from high school or equivalent and five years of legal or courtroom experience. Physical Demands

Regularly talks or listens; uses hands and fingers; reaches with hands and arms; may stand; may lift/move up to 25 pounds; occasional bending, twisting, and kicking. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment

Noise level typically quiet; may involve varying and unpredictable situations, emergencies or crises; subject to interruptions and multiple inquiries. Experience Levels
