Overview
We are seeking a
Atlassian Developer/Administrator
to support a large-scale government data platform. In this role, you will be responsible for the
administration, development, and customization of the Atlassian tool suite
(Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and related products) to streamline operations, improve collaboration, and enhance service delivery. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to build automated workflows, integrate Atlassian tools with third-party systems, and ensure secure, reliable, and user-friendly platforms for government users. An innovative, service-focused team player with hands-on experience across Atlassian tools. The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative environments, enjoys solving technical challenges, and is eager to contribute to modernization efforts for mission-driven projects. Basic Qualifications
3+ years of Atlassian administration experience, including Jira and Confluence configuration (workflows, permission schemes, notifications, screen schemes) Hands-on experience with Atlassian integrations using the REST API and plugins Experience with ScriptRunner (or similar tools) for automations, conditions, validations, and post-functions Proficiency in Jira Query Language (JQL) for building reports and dashboards Knowledge of Bitbucket administration and integration with CI/CD tools Familiarity with programming/scripting (Python, Groovy, Java, .NET, Shell scripting) Experience with patching, upgrades, and plugin management for Atlassian products Ability to monitor and troubleshoot Atlassian performance and security issues in collaboration with DevOps and security teams Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance Additional Desired Qualifications
Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance Familiarity with PostgreSQL database concepts Knowledge of AWS cloud services and Atlassian cloud administration Experience with GitLab or other CI/CD platforms integrated with Atlassian tools Knowledge of ITIL processes and service desk best practices Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to provide remote after-hours on-call support if needed Why Join Us?
