Atlanta, GA . What you will do
Set and drive a transformative integration strategy that supports critical focus areas and priorities for the business, delivering scalable, reusable, and profitable solutions. Accelerate business transformation by modernizing legacy integration technologies and establishing clear technical roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives. Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure integration solutions are adopted, scalable, and aligned with priorities. Apply economic and risk-based thinking (e.g., marginal analysis, opportunity cost) to ensure integration strategies are profitable, sustainable, and resilient. Develop and promote engineering standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns to empower engineers. Qualifications
Experience as a Solutions Architect, defining and driving strategies that deliver profitable, sustainable outcomes in complex, multi-domain environments. Ability to set technical vision and influence adoption among engineers, technology leaders, and business stakeholders. Hands-on experience with streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, AWS Kinesis, NATS) and their infrastructure. Experience designing and implementing AWS-native integration solutions in an enterprise environment. Experience with integration patterns (e.g., event-driven, hub-and-spoke, publish-subscribe, streaming). Experience applying economic and risk-based thinking to architectural decisions (marginal analysis, opportunity cost, risk optimization). Experience leading or participating in cross-functional teams and driving collaboration across technical and business groups. Experience applying security and compliance practices (encryption, authentication, authorization, data privacy standards such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect). Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship. What will put you ahead
Success in architecting and delivering integration solutions in manufacturing or industrial environments, with a focus on streaming and real-time data. Proficiency with middleware/ESB platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, SAP-CPI, Infor Ion) in an enterprise setting. Proficiency with API Management tools (e.g., AWS Gateway, Apigee, Kong) in an enterprise setting. Experience with industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC-UA, MODBUS, etc.). Experience with EDI platforms and standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.). At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
